Farin Road (“we”, “us”) operates the farinroad.com website and the Farin Road dining experiences. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you book an experience, join a waitlist, submit an enquiry, or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, telephone number, and booking-specific information such as dietary requirements, allergies, accessibility needs and party size. We also receive limited transaction details from our payment processor, Stripe, to confirm and fulfil your booking. We do not see or store your card details.

How we use your information

We use your information to process and confirm bookings, manage guest lists and check-in, accommodate dietary and accessibility requirements, send you booking-related communications (including reminders and updates about events you have booked), respond to enquiries, and — where you have given consent — send occasional news and announcements about future experiences.

Legal basis

We process your information on the basis of fulfilling a contract for your booking, our legitimate interests in running the business and corresponding with you, your consent for marketing communications, and to meet legal and tax record-keeping obligations.

Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to operate: with Stripe for payment processing, with the venues hosting our experiences for guest management, and with service providers who help us run the website and communications. We do not sell your data.

Retention

We keep booking and enquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and marketing consents until you withdraw them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to certain processing, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact farinroad@gmail.com.

Contact

If you have questions about how we handle your data, write to Farin Road, Edinburgh, Scotland, or email farinroad@gmail.com.
